Pandora, Pandora, where lies your charm?

More and more people around me are talking about Pandora, the jewelry store founded in Denmark.

Its charm bracelets especially are making ladies fall head over heels with them in Singapore. My sis-in-law had her husband buy her one recently that cost about S$300. Even a secondary school girl whom I know owns one laden with silver charms and Murano beads. We heard that she sheepishly told her somewhat-clueless dad that it cost less than S$100, when in fact that single piece of arm candy had set her mum back by at least S$600. ~ Wow!!

Now that got me interested to create something myself. Here are two of my first Pandora-inspired bracelets.

The first is a pink leather one with some faceted glass charms, silver crowns and faux diamond rings. 

This second one has a cute bird house complete with a tiny bird in flight, silver rose charms and more.

Pearls are not only classy, but classic and timeless as well. But wear them the wrong way and you might turn out looking fuddy-duddy.

Given a new twist of rich pink hues, the pearls on this bracelet are anything but dowdy. Coupled with the asymmetrical style and burnished ethnic flower medallion, they make a pretty sight worn on your wrist.

Bunny Lop

If I ever owned a pet, it would probably be a bunny... a dwarf lop, to be specific. Those adorable balls of fur with their droopy ears just make me wanna go, "Kawa-ii ne!!!!!" It was the same when I discovered these cute little porcelain beads painted with little rabbits. They just add such a cute touch to this bracelet, which also features green resin beads, shiny green seed beads and silver hoops.

Fields of Green

Hmm, I realised I have quite a fair bit of green beads in my stash, so I've decided to present a series of different designs using them. Here's a second charm bracelet that features green resin beads. A surprise ring of leaf and flower charms break the orderly row of green and transparent beads - just like a lone bush standing out from a vast plateau of green grass.

Violin Rhapsody
